Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy applies to payments made through the official Gujarat Cricket League (GCL) website, accessible from gujaratcricketleague.com.

GCL is organized by Zero Footage Sports Pvt. Ltd.

1. Player Registration Fee – Strictly Non-Refundable

All player registration fees paid for participation in GCL are strictly and completely non-refundable under any circumstances.

Once the registration fee has been successfully paid, the player shall not be entitled to request, claim or demand a refund for any reason.

This includes, but is not limited to:

• Player does not attend the scheduled trials.
• Player misses or arrives late for the trials.
• Player is not selected during trials.
• Player is not shortlisted.
• Player’s name does not appear in the auction list.
• Player is not selected or purchased by any team during the auction.
• Player is not allocated to any team.
• Player withdraws from GCL after registration.
• Player becomes unavailable to participate.
• Player fails to attend any GCL activity.
• Player is disqualified or removed from the selection process.
• Player violates GCL rules or Player Terms & Conditions.
• Player provides incorrect or incomplete information.
• Player is unable to participate for personal, professional, medical or other reasons.
• Player does not receive the opportunity or outcome they expected after registration.
• Any change in the player’s personal circumstances.
• Any change in team selection, auction process, schedule or league arrangements.

Payment of the registration fee only confirms the player’s registration/application. It does not guarantee trials selection, auction participation, inclusion in the auction list, team selection, team allocation, match participation, player fees or any other opportunity or benefit.

2. No Refund Demand

A player agrees that payment of the registration fee is made voluntarily after reviewing the applicable GCL terms and conditions.

No player shall have the right to demand, claim or request a refund of the registration fee after successful payment.

GCL will not be responsible for refund requests arising from a player’s failure to attend, non-selection, absence from the auction list, withdrawal, disqualification or any other player-related circumstance.

3. Registration & Selection

Registration does not guarantee selection or participation in any particular stage of the GCL player selection process.

GCL may conduct trials, screening, shortlisting, selection and auction processes according to the rules applicable to the relevant season.

The registration fee is for the registration/application process and is not a fee guaranteeing selection or participation.

4. Duplicate Payment / Technical Payment Error

If a player is charged more than once for the same registration transaction due to a verified technical or payment-processing error, the duplicate transaction may be reviewed by GCL.

Where a duplicate payment is confirmed, GCL may process the excess payment through the applicable payment gateway, subject to verification and applicable payment-processing procedures.

This provision applies only to a verified duplicate or technical payment error and does not constitute a refund of the player registration fee.

5. Failed Payment

If a payment fails but the amount is temporarily deducted from the player’s bank account, the transaction may be subject to the normal reversal or settlement process of the relevant bank or payment gateway.

Players should retain their transaction/reference number and contact GCL if the payment is not automatically resolved.

6. Changes, Postponement or Cancellation of GCL Activities

GCL may modify, postpone, reschedule or cancel trials, matches, events or other league activities due to operational, venue, weather, safety, government, technical, force majeure or other circumstances.

Such changes do not create any right to a refund of the player registration fee.

7. Disqualification

If a player is disqualified, suspended or removed from the GCL selection or participation process because of a violation of GCL rules, Player Terms & Conditions, code of conduct or any other applicable requirement, the registration fee will not be refunded.

Additional fines, penalties or other consequences may apply in accordance with the applicable GCL rules.

8. Other Payments

If GCL introduces any payment other than the player registration fee, the applicable payment and refund terms may be separately communicated to users before such payment is made.

The terms applicable to that specific payment shall govern the transaction.

For technical payment issues, players may contact GCL using the official contact details below.

• Transaction/reference number
• Amount paid
• Description of the payment issue

Providing complete transaction information will help GCL investigate the issue.

GCL reserves the right to update this Refund & Cancellation Policy when required.

Any updated version will be published on this page with a revised “Last Updated” date.

IMPORTANT NOTICE

PLAYER REGISTRATION FEES ARE STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.

By completing payment, the player confirms that they have read, understood and accepted this Refund & Cancellation Policy and specifically acknowledges that payment of the registration fee does not guarantee trial selection, auction listing, team selection, team allocation or match participation.
